In 2007, Senate Concurrent Resolution 198 requested the Healthcare Association of Hawaii to examine the problem of patients in acute care hospitals waitlisted for long term care and to propose solutions.
This informational briefing will overview the Healthcare Association of Hawaii's report back to the State Senate and Legislature. Further, it will introduce potential solutions that a working group of chief financial officers from various hospitals have developed to alleviate this pressing health situation.
Invited to attend this briefing and participate in our discussion are:
