There are several long-term care efforts underway in the State of Hawaii. The Senate Committees on Human Services and Public Housing and Health will conduct a joint legislative briefing for the purpose of discussing long-term care and provide the opportunity for some of these initiatives to share, with the public, recommendations being made to the Hawaii State Legislature. Presentations will be made by the following:

                                                              Governor's Long-Term Living Initiative, Susan Jackson, Department of Health

                                                              SCR 144 Task Force, Patti Johnson, Department of Human Services

                                                              Maui Health Initiative Task Force, Rita Barreras, Chair
