RELATING TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING. Extends the sunset date of the increased conveyance tax allocation to the rental housing trust fund. Appropriates funds for expedited third party review of affordable projects. Establishes a self-help housing technical assistance trust fund. Increases the Hula Mae multifamily revenue bond authorization to $500,000,000. (SB3174 SD2)

RELATING TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING. Exempts new multi-family housing condominium developments of seventy-five units or more from certain state and county affordable housing requirements. (SD1)

RELATING TO KAKAAKO. Increases the reserved housing requirement for a planned development with a height of more than forty-five feet or a floor area that equals or exceeds 1.5 times the lot area for such development in the Kakaako community development district, mauka area for lots one acre or more in size. DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee the comments are directed to;
· The date and time of the hearing;
· Measure number; and
· The number of copies the Committee is requesting.
While every effort will be made to copy, organize, and collate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed to the incorrect office, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.
