NOTICE OF INFORMATIONAL BRIEFING

The purpose of this informational briefing is to review the effects of heavy metals in soil and dust on the health of local populations, especially as they pertain to the PVT Landfill site on the Island of Hawaii.

The Director of Health, Chiyome Fukino, MD or her designee has been invited to attend and discuss potential health effects of heavy metals and the oversight role of the Department.

 Concerned citizens will present the findings of a privately commissioned soil, dust, and water analysis conducted on samples taken from property abutting the PVT site.
