     Your Committee on Transportation, to which was referred H.R. No. 73 entitled:

"HOUSE RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU TO CONDUCT A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE REPAIR AND REPAVING OF SIDE STREETS ALONG KALIHI STREET,"

begs leave to report as follows:

     The purpose of this resolution is to request the City and County of Honolulu to conduct a feasibility study for the repair and repaving of side streets along Kalihi Street.

     Testimonies in support of this measure were submitted by Connie Wickware, Pua Auyong White, Amy Agbayani, Andrew White, Pascual Dabis, David Gustafan, Amefil Agbayani, Alice Nakama and Josephine Besario.

     As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Transportation that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.R. No. 73 and recommends its adoption.
