Your Committee on Agriculture and Hawaiian Affairs, to which was referred Governor's Message No. 560, submitting for study and consideration the nomination of:

Your Committee has reviewed the history, resume, and statement submitted by the nominee, and finds William C. Frampton to possess the requisite qualifications to be nominated to the Island Burial Council, Islands of Maui and Lanai.
Testimony in support of this nomination was submitted by the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
Mr. Frampton has served on the Island Burial Council, Islands of Maui and Lanai since 2002 as the land owner representative. He received a Bachelor's degree in Geography with an emphasis on Natural Resource Planning from Humboldt State University. He is the owner and managing member of Frampton and Ward, LLC, doing work in real estate consulting, development, and project management. Mr. Frampton previously served as the remediation coordinator for the Kaho‘olawe Island Reserve Commission
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Agriculture and Hawaiian Affairs that is attached to this report, your Committee, after full consideration of the background, experience, and qualifications of the nominee, has found the nominee to be qualified for the position to which nominated and recommends that the Senate advise and consent to the nomination.
