SENATE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
calling for a joint session of the legislature for the purpose of appointing the ombudsman.
WHEREAS, section 96-2, Hawaii Revised Statutes, provides that the Legislature, by a majority vote of each house in joint session, shall appoint an Ombudsman who shall serve for a period of six years; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Twenty-fourth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2008, the House of Representatives concurring, that the two Houses of the Legislature assemble in joint session in the chambers of the Senate at (time) on (day), (date) for the purpose of appointing Robin K. Matsunaga as Ombudsman, whose term shall commence on (date).
