A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO HOUSING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Section 201H-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (d) to read as follows:

     "(d)  In the development and construction of a housing project, the corporation may provide for an on‑the-job training program or other projects as it [may deem] deems justifiable, including innovative projects to develop a larger qualified work force in the State."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
