A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO COMMERCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Section 271G-4, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:

     "[[]§271G-4[]]  Application of chapter, interstate, or foreign commerce.  This chapter shall not apply to commerce with foreign nations or to interstate commerce, except insofar as the application of this chapter is permitted under the Constitution and laws of the United States."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
