A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to offenses against public order.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 711-1100, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "pet animal" to read as follows:
""Pet animal" means a dog, cat,
domesticated rabbit, guinea pig, domesticated pig, [or] caged [birds]
bird (passeriformes, piciformes, and psittaciformes only), or horse
so long as not bred for consumption."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
