A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO STATE OF HAWAII.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 371-18, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:
"[[]§371-18[]]
Staffing for federally funded programs. Positions established by the
department to implement federally funded employment or training programs, [or
both,] including [but not limited to] those established under the
Comprehensive Employment and Training Act, Job Training Partnership Act, Workforce
Investment Act, and the welfare to work program, may be exempt from chapter
76."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
