A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO CAMPAIGNING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Section 11-208, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (c) to read as follows:

     "(c)  Affidavits properly filed in compliance with this section shall be filed by the time of filing of nomination papers with the chief election officer or county clerk."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
