HOUSE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
calling for a joint session of the legislature for the purpose of appointing the state auditor.
WHEREAS, article VII, section 10 of the Constitution of the State of Hawaii provides that the Legislature, by a majority vote of each house in joint session, shall appoint an Auditor who shall serve for a period of eight years; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-fourth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2008, the Senate concurring, that the two Houses of the Legislature assemble in joint session in the chambers of the Senate at (time) on (day), (date) for the purpose of appointing Marion M. Higa as the Auditor, whose term shall commence on (date).
