A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to perinatal care.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Act 248, Session Laws of Hawaii 2006, is amended by amending section 3 to read as follows:

     "SECTION 3.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of [$400,000] $200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year [2006-2007] 2007-2008, and the same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2008-2009, to establish a pilot perinatal clinic and provide case management services."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
