A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to employment.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Act 259, Session Laws of Hawaii 2007, is amended by amending section 13 to read as follows:

     "SECTION 13.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval[.]; provided that sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of this Act shall take effect retroactive to May 24, 1978."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
