A BILL FOR AN ACT
making appropriations to kapiolani community college.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $226,596 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2008-2009 for two full-time campus security personnel at Kapiolani Community College.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $323,711 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2008-2009 for four full-time employees in the distance learning program at Kapiolani Community College.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $447,121 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2008-2009 for additional educational equipment at Kapiolani Community College.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2008.
