A BILL FOR AN ACT
making an appropriation for the construction of a wildlife viewing site at kipuka 21 on the island of hawaii.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $250,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2008-2009 for the planning, design, engineering, and construction of a wildlife viewing site, with an overlook, handicap access, pathways, and parking, at Kipuka 21 located at milepost 21 along the north side of Saddle Road, on the island of Hawaii.
The sum expended shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2008.
