A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO GOVERNMENT BOARDS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 92-2.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (c) to read as follows:
"(c)
Discussions between two or more members of a board [, but less
than the number of members which would constitute a quorum for the board,]
concerning the selection of the board's officers or assignment of members to
the board's committees may be conducted in private without
limitation or subsequent reporting."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
