A BILL FOR AN ACT
making an appropriation for beautification projects along the waianae coast.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $________, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, and the same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2008-2009, for beautification projects along the Waianae Coast.
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of transportation for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sums appropriated by this Act shall be released only when such moneys are matched by private moneys on a 1:1 basis. Moneys less than the total amount appropriated by this Act may be released if the private moneys are less than the total amount appropriated by this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
