SB 586 SD1 (SSCR630)	RELATING TO STATE FUNDS. Appropriates funds to staff and operate the office of the legislative analyst.	WAM
SB 1689	RELATING TO STATE FUNDS. Requires online full disclosure of all entities and organizations receiving state funds. Requires entities receiving state funds for research projects to make a public report of the research available online and to file a hard copy with the department of budget and finance.	WAM
SB 1926	RELATING TO WHISTLEBLOWERS' PROTECTION. Provides additional protection to public employees who report violations of the law, waste, and gross misconduct, incompetence, or inefficiency; expands the state ombudsman's responsibilities regarding whistleblowers; and appropriates funds.	WAM
SB 1948	RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR PROJECTS ON THE ISLAND OF HAWAII. This Act extends the authorization to issue special purpose revenue bonds to the year 2011 for the purpose of a cogeneration facility on the Island of Hawaii.	WAM

Please submit your testimony on 8-1/2 x 11-inch paper (one-sided printing) with 1-inch margins.

c. By E-mail: Testimony may also be e-mailed if less than 5 pages in length, to: testimony@capitol.hawaii.gov (the Public Access Room, phone 587-0478). Please indicate that 25 copies are needed. Please note that the Senator's office will not accept e-mail testimony.

Testimony received less than 24 hours prior to the hearing will be stamped “LATE.”

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for the disabled) please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
