Authorized the agribusiness development corporation to issue revenue bonds to purchase land in central Oahu from the Galbraith trust; appropriates funds to purchase the lands; enables the agribusiness development corporation to contract with lending institutions to provide lease management services.

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE. Appropriates $200,000 to plan a terminal market pilot program on the Big Island; appropriates $50,000 for the Department of Agriculture (DOA) to hire a consultant to assist in planning terminal markets; authorizes $3,000,000 in general obligation bonds to finance construction and equipment for a terminal market and vacuum cooling plant on the island of Hawaii; requires the consultant to work with DOA to form a Committee relating to terminal markets.

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
