SB 844	RELATING TO SUSTAINABILITY. Appropriates funds for the development of the Hawaii 2050 sustainability plan.	WAH, WAM
SB 162	RELATING TO IOLANI PALACE. Exempts Iolani Palace from the standards and conditions related to the receipt of funds contained in chapter 42F, Hawaii Revised Statutes.	WAH, WAM
SB 1127	RELATING TO TRADITIONAL HAWAIIAN KNOWLEDGE CURRICULUM. Appropriates moneys for the development of science curriculum that promotes the knowledge and practices of the sciences in pre-Western contact Hawaii.	WAH, WAM
SB 950	RELATING TO TARO. Establishes the taro plant as the state plant.	WAH
SB 840	RELATING TO KIKALA-KEOKEA. Authorizes the Department of Land and Natural Resources, subject to specific criteria and priority requirements, to award the remaining leases in the Kikala-Keokea area not previously executed under Act 314, Session Laws of Hawaii 1991.	WAH
SB 1054	RELATING TO HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS. Requires any development of "available lands" for other than homestead purposes to be done in accordance with county zoning and other land use requirements.	WAH, JDL
SB 1539	RELATING TO THE LAND USE COMMISSION. Requires the governor to appoint at least one member of the land use commission from a list of three nominees submitted by the office of Hawaiian affairs.	WAH
SB 1540	RELATING TO THE BOARD OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES. Requires the governor to appoint at least one member of the board of the department of land and natural resources from a list of three nominees submitted by the office of Hawaiian affairs.	WAH
SB 1542	RELATING TO CEDED LANDS. Prohibits the department of land and natural resources from selling, exchanging, or otherwise alienating lands contained in the public land trust without the consent of the board of trustees of the office of Hawaiian affairs.	WAH, WAM
SB 1531	RELATING TO COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT. Requires the director of the office of planning to appoint one member of the public advisory body for coastal zone management from a list of three nominees submitted by the office of Hawaiian affairs.	WAH

Persons wishing to testify should submit 25 copies of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 407, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing.  Testimony may also be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
