HB 825 (HSCR223)	RELATING TO CAREGIVING. Extends the life of the joint legislative committee on family caregiving to 6/30/08. Expands the focus of the committee to explore a paid family leave program. Provides a broader definition for "family caregiver."	HLT/HSH, LMG, FIN
HB 837 HD1 (HSCR272)	RELATING TO PROCUREMENT. Provides a procurement exemption for services contracted with a legislative agency to prepare studies or reports for legislative submittal. (HB837 HD1)	EDB, LMG, FIN
HB 1440 HD1 (HSCR280)	RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY. Clarifies that the Office of Ombudsman has the authority to investigate contractual acts of facilities with which the Department of Public Safety has contracted to hold individuals committed to the custody of the Director of Public Safety. HB 1084	RELATING TO THE LEGISLATURE. Provides that employees loaned by business entities to the legislature as interns or temporary staff are subject to the state code of ethics under chapter 84, HRS.	LMG

Allows the legislature to request reports from the board of family court judges.
