SB 1424	MAKING EMERGENCY APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER ADVOCACY. Provides emergency appropriations ($500,000)  for the DCCA Division of Consumer Advocacy to investigate the power outages that occurred on October 15, 2006 on the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii.	CPH, WAM
SB 57	RELATING TO DENTISTS. Authorizes the board of dental examiners to sanction licensees for false or misleading advertising.	CPH
SB 58	RELATING TO DENTISTS. Allows for the independent administration of a deceased dentist's estate.	CPH, JDL
SB 59	RELATING TO DENTISTS. Authorizes the board of dental examiners to conduct background checks on applicants for dental license.	CPH
SB 1660	RELATING TO PAYDAY LENDING. Requires the department of commerce and consumer affairs to regulate the payday lending industry through licensing.  Appropriates funds to establish a financial literacy education program.	CPH, WAM
SB 636	RELATING TO CHECK CASHING. Amends the check cashing laws to require registration of check cashers, provide further requirements on deferred deposit transactions, and clarify applicability requirements.	CPH
SB 1935	RELATING TO CHECK CASHING. Requires the department of commerce and consumer affairs to regulate the check cashing industry through licensing requirements.	CPH
SB 1655	RELATING TO MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. Establishes a state mixed martial arts commission.  Provides for regulation of mixed martial arts.  Prohibits no rules combat, extreme or ultimate fighting, or similar contests.	CPH, WAM
SB 1712	RELATING TO MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. Gives the director of commerce and consumer affairs licensing authority over mixed martial arts contests.  Prohibits no rules combat, extreme or ultimate fighting, or other similar contests.	CPH, WAM
SB 1751	RELATING TO MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. Regulates mixed martial arts, no rules combat, extreme or ultimate fighting, or other similar contests; repeals existing law on no rules combat or similar contests.	CPH, WAM
SB 1016	RELATING TO THE UNIFORM ATHLETE AGENTS ACT. Enacts the Uniform Athlete Agents Act to protect student‑athletes and educational institutions from potential harm caused by unscrupulous athlete agents.  Requires athlete agents to register with department of commerce and consumer affairs. SB 1420	RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL AND VOCATIONAL LICENSING FEES. Allows DCCA Professional and Vocational Licensing Division with the flexibility to offer licensing discounts to licensing program areas in an expedited manner.	CPH, WAM
