SECTION 1. Senate Bill No. 638, Senate Draft 1, is amended by amending Section 2 to read as follows:
"SECTION
2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii
the sum of [$11,670,163] $9,670,163, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, for defraying any and all session and nonsession expenses of the
house of representatives up to and including June 30, 2008, including the 2007
regular session, twenty-fourth legislature of the State of Hawaii, and
pre-session expenses and the expenses of any committee or committees
established during the interim between the 2007 and 2008 regular sessions.
The sum appropriated in this section shall be expended by the house of representatives."
