A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the university of hawaii.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 304A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§304A- Classroom instruction; earliest start. Beginning on the first day of instruction of the fall semester of 2007, for the purpose of reducing traffic congestion on Oahu, no classroom instruction at the University of Hawaii-Manoa campus shall begin earlier than 9 a.m. during weekdays."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on August 20, 2007.
