A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twenty-first representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2007-2008:
1. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:
A. Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu
Reroof cafeteria.
Total funding $ 92,000
B. Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu
Campus reroof walkways and repairs.
Total funding $ 100,000
C. Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu
Replace cafe stage curtains.
Total funding $ 25,000
D. Jefferson elementary school, Oahu
Construction to upgrade "R" building electrical system.
Construction $ 100,000
Total funding $ 100,000
E. Kaimuki high school, Oahu
Build restrooms near athletic field.
Total funding $ 350,000
F. Kaimuki high school, Oahu
Upgrade girls' locker rooms.
Total funding $2,000,000
G. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu
Construction to install parking lot lights for 8th and 9th avenue lots.
Construction $ 346,000
Total funding $ 346,000
H. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu
Construction to add (3) field lights.
Construction $ 248,000
Total funding $ 248,000
I. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu
Construction for parking lot expansion.
Construction $ 135,000
Total funding $ 135,000
J. Kalani high school, Oahu
Building J renovations.
Total funding $ 500,000
K. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu
Classroom furniture.
Total funding $ 12,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
