A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twenty-fourth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2007-2008:
1. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:
A. Manoa elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction to resurface the playcourt and to reroof classroom buildings.
Design $ 46,000
Construction 521,000
Total funding $ 567,000
B. Noelani elementary school, Oahu
Plan, design, and construction to enlarge library workspace.
Plan, design, and construction $ 400,000
Total funding $ 400,000
C. Manoa public library, Oahu
Plan, design, and construction $
Total funding $
D. University of Hawaii at Manoa, Oahu
Plan, design, and construction to renovate and expand the Campus Center.
Plan, design, and construction $14,000,000
Total funding $14,000,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
