Measure Title: RELATING TO LAND CONSERVATION.
Report Title: Acquisition of Land for Conservation and Environmental Protection ($)
Description: Requires 25 percent of real estate conveyance tax revenues to be deposited annually into the Land Conservation Fund. Allows grants to state agencies, counties, and nonprofit land conservation organizations to acquire interest in "land having value as a resource of the state." Exempts the Land Conservation Fund from the 5 percent fee collected for government central service expenses relating to all special funds. Appropriates funding for three priority project areas in order to secure matching federal funding. (SB1897 HD2)
