Measure Title: RELATING TO WAGES.
Report Title: Minimum Wage; Tipped Employees; Tip Credit
Description: Incrementally raises the minimum wage tip credit for tipped employees. Establishes that the hourly wage of a tipped employee is deemed to be increased on account of tips if the employee is paid an amount that is not less than $1 in calendar year 2007, and $1.75 in calendar year 2008 and thereafter, below applicable minimum wage by the employee's employer and the combined amount the employee receives from the employer and in tips is at least 50 cents more than the applicable minimum wage.
