Requires a certain number of BOR members to represent specific geographic areas. Establishes that BOR members shall serve no more than 2 consecutive 5-year terms. Establishes that if a member is appointed to a second term of 5 years, the senate will consider the question of whether to reconfirm the member at least 120 days prior to the conclusion of the member's first 5-year term. Clarifies that every BOR member may serve beyond the expiration date of the member's term until the member's successor has been appointed and has been confirmed by the senate. |
