RELATING TO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. Clarifies that employer contributions and EUTF assets are irrevocable and may be used only for the benefit of employee-beneficiaries and dependent-beneficiaries. Authorizes the board to use funds and create separate funds as a reserve against or to pay future costs of providing health and other benefits to retired employees and their beneficiaries. (SD1) |

RELATING TO IDENTITY THEFT. Changes name of task force, expands its responsibilities, and extends its life until 12/31/07. Adds additional members to the task force. Appropriates funds to the office of the auditor. Appropriates funds for an expanded law enforcement effort to compile a uniform identity theft complaint tracking system, to support an increase in community outreach programs, and to fund a study on the nexus between methamphetamine use and identity theft. When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
