RELATING TO EDUCATION. Creates the Facilities Alignment Commission to revitalize school facilities, including establishing criteria for the selection and recommendation of areas for new schools, schools for expansion, and schools for consolidation or closure. Allows the Legislature to disapprove these recommendations only in its entirety, and requires the Board of Education to proceed with these recommendations. |
