The Information and Communication Services Division (ICSD) of the Department of Accounting and General Services is tasked with the responsibility to "enable state agencies to improve the management, operation, and efficiency of their programs by enhancing computer and telecommunications capabilities, technical advice, and related consultation services".

This briefing will provide information on the I.T. Gov Team, the E-Gov Team, and E-HawaiiGov Internet Portal. The Comptroller will discuss:

(1) How they work and are being utilized;

(2) How information technology can assist government operate more efficiently; and

(3) How agencies may benefit from the use of technology.
