Establishes an "assessment bank" to cover the cost of substance abuse assessments for uninsured students who are found to be in violation of the department of education's zero tolerance policy relating to alcohol and other drugs. Makes appropriation. (SD2)

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EDUCATION.

Appropriates funds for a weighted student formula conversion program that provides supplementary allocations to schools adversely affected by the weighted student formula. Appropriates funds for schools in the department of education for equipment, supplies, and services. Reimburses each teacher up to $200 for money spent on classroom and instructional teaching supplies. (SD2)
