MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SCHOOL REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE.

Appropriates funds for the repair and maintenance of public schools.

RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Appropriates $32,000,000 for schools in the department of education for equipment, supplies, and services. Reimburses each teacher up to $200 for money spent on classroom and instructional teaching supplies.

RELATING TO THE STATE EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT FUND.

Increases the amount of money deposited into the state educational facilities improvement special fund.

AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS AND MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO REDUCE THE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE PROJECTS BACKLOG FOR DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FACILITIES.

Authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds and appropriates general revenues for the department of education's repair and maintenance projects.
