Appropriates funds for two full-time librarian III positions at Waialua library and Kahuku public school library for fiscal year 2006-2007.

Requires the department of education to create a commission to establish, implement and maintain a standardized statewide curriculum for each grade level, with adequate course content in order to meet the state performance standards for the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

Establishes a non-school hours activities program coordinator position in the department of education and establishes a task force to review and recommend improvements to the State's non-school hours activities programs. Appropriates funds.

Establishes interscholastic athletic program at public Intermediate schools. Appropriates funds for program.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ATHLETIC HEALTH CARE TRAINERS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

Appropriates funds to establish 16.5 additional permanent athletic health care trainer positions in the public schools.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STIPENDS FOR ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTORS AND COACHES EMPLOYED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Appropriates funds to pay stipends for assistant athletic directors and coaches of department of education activities.
