HB 2606	RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE. Clarifies the process of payments for benefits under automobile personal injury protection coverage where the bill for medical services submitted does not conform to the fee schedule or where there is a dispute between the medical provider and insurer on compliance. HB 2619 (HSCR26-06)	RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY. Ensures that electric utility companies are afforded an opportunity to earn a fair rate of return, rather than providing that their profit margins will not decrease as a result of any proposed utility rate-making structure.	EEP, CPC, FIN
HB 2076 HD1 (HSCR30-06)	RELATING TO MINORS. Allows a minor under certain circumstances to consent to the provision of medical care and services.	HLT, CPC, JUD
HB 3126 (HSCR56-06)	RELATING TO RAPID IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS. Amends the rapid identification documents law by deleting the requirement that the document be in the form of a bracelet. Allows a lawfully appointed guardian, agent, or surrogate to act on a patient's behalf when directing medical staff to provide comfort care only.	HLT, CPC, FIN
HB 1981 (HSCR57-06)	RELATING TO LEASEHOLD CONVERSION. Exempts from taxation 100% of capital gains realized during taxable years 2007 through 2011 from the sale of leased fee interest in residential house lot or multi-family residential leasehold property to lessee, AOAO, or cooperative. SB 1223 SD2 (SSCR775)	RELATING TO NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS. Allows the holder of a dishonored check to raise the service charge to not more than $ ." (SD2)	CPC, FIN

HB 2319	RELATING TO INSURANCE. Previously heard on 2/1/06 Updates and streamlines insurance statutes to conform with federal law and national standards.	CPC
HB 1836	RELATING TO VETERINARIANS. Previously heard on 1/30/06 Authorizes, upon certain conditions and without examination, temporary licensure of veterinarians who are licensed in good standing in another state that has licensing standards equivalent to or higher than Hawaii's.	CPC, FIN
