SENATE RESOLUTION

 

REGARDING COMPLETION OF THE WORK OF THE TWENTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE SUBSEQUENT TO THE ADJOURNMENT THEREOF.

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Twenty-Third Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2006, that the President be and is hereby authorized and empowered as the President deems necessary to (1) expend such sum or sums from the funds appropriated for the legislative and other expenses of the Twenty-Third Legislature, Regular Session of 2006; (2) contract, hire, or employ such personnel and assistance to meet the work of the Senate after the session and to determine the period of employment for each; and (3) do or cause to be done such other duties, all for the purposes of completing the work of the Twenty-Third Legislature, Regular Session of 2006, subsequent to the adjournment thereof, including the carrying out of any official legislative business in the interim between the 2006 and 2007 session, up to and including January 17, 2007.
