A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to public lands.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 171-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "accreted lands" to read as follows:
""Accreted lands" means lands formed by the gradual accumulation of land on a beach or shore along the ocean by the action of [natural forces.] ocean waves."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
