Requires that all financial disclosures filed with the Commission on Judicial Conduct to be posted on the Internet by the judiciary. Requires that personal information be redacted prior to posting on the Internet.

A BILL FOR AN ACT

SECTION 1. Chapter 601, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

"§601-   Financial disclosures filed with commission on judicial conduct; posting on Internet. (a) The judiciary shall post on the Internet all financial disclosures filed with the commission on judicial conduct.

(b) The following personal information in the financial disclosures shall be redacted prior to posting the financial disclosures on the Internet: social security number, birth date, residential address, and residential telephone number."

SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
