A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $60,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for the department of health to purchase and distribute to community health providers hepatitis A and B vaccines for administration to homeless persons in accordance with the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the United States Public Health Service.
SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
