A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO FIREARMS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The attorney general shall define the requirements for implementation of and to ensure compliance with the federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004.
SECTION 2. The attorney general shall submit a report on what measures have been taken to ensure implementation of and compliance with the federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 to the legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular session of 2007.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
