A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to insurance.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the hurricane reserve trust fund the sum of $ , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for deposit into the loss mitigation grant fund.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the loss mitigation grant fund the sum of $ , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for the loss mitigation grant program.
SECTION 3. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the insurance commissioner for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
