Appropriates funds to complete the master plan for Haena State Park, and for the positions of botanist, general construction and maintenance supervisor, and park caretaker for Wailua River State Park.

A BILL FOR AN ACT

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, to complete the master plan for Haena State Park on Kauai.

SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $40,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, to reestablish the position of Botanist IV (SR-22) based on Kauai.

SECTION 3. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $55,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, to reestablish the position of general construction and maintenance supervisor based on Kauai.

SECTION 4. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $34,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, to reestablish the position of Park Caretaker II, for Wailua River State Park on Kauai.

SECTION 5. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 6. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
