A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the employees' retirement system.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Forty per cent of all unexpended and unencumbered moneys remaining in the general fund at the close of fiscal year 2004-2005 pursuant to section 40-65 and section 40-66 shall transfer to the credit of the Employees' Retirement System.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
