A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR a dedicated Aero-Medical Helicopter Unit in South Kohala.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $469,313, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006, and the same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for dedicated emergency medical services personnel, consisting of three medical intensive care technicians and three emergency medical technicians, to staff the aero-medical helicopter unit based in South Kohala.
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the county of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
