A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to APPELLATE jurisdiction.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 85 of Act 202, Session Laws of Hawaii 2004, is amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 85. This Act shall take effect upon its approval; provided that sections 1 through 82 shall take effect on [July 1, 2006.] January 1, 2007."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on June 30, 2006.
