A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE twenty-first REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2006-2007.

1. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:

A. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu

Construction for Eighth avenue parking

lot expansion.

Design $20,000

Construction 115,000

Anticipated cost increase 10,000

Total funding $145,000

B. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu

Construction for three field lights

on Ninth avenue.

Design $35,000

Construction 212,000

Equipment 1,000

Anticipated cost increase 10,000

Total funding $258,000

C. Liholiho elementary school, Oahu

Parking lot lights for Eighth and

Ninth avenue lots.

Design $45,000

Construction 300,000

Equipment 1,000

Anticipated cost increase 10,000

Total funding $356,000

D. Waikiki elementary school, Oahu

Construction for new roof for Building "B".

Construction $180,000

E. Waikiki elementary school, Oahu

Construction for electrical upgrade and repair

in Buildings "A", "B", and "C".

Construction $80,000

F. Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu

Construction for renovations to bathrooms in

Buildings A, B, and C.

Construction $300,000

G. Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu

Construction to renovation office restrooms.

Construction $50,000

H. Ala Wai elementary school, Oahu

Construction to replace school perimeter fence.

Construction $60,000

I. Jefferson elementary school, Oahu

Construction for electrical upgrade in Building "R".

Construction $200,000

J. Waikiki community center, Oahu

Construction of playground equipment.

Construction $40,000

K. Improvement of Waikiki seawall

Construction $2,000,000

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agencies for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
