Appropriates funds for the department of health to engage in a purchase of services with ARC in Hawaii in order to operate domiciliary homes and apartment complexes for those with developmental disabilities.

A BILL FOR AN ACT

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $          , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, as a purchase of service pursuant to chapter 103F, Hawaii Revised Statutes, for the department of health to enter into a purchase of services with ARC in Hawaii for the purpose of operating domiciliary homes and apartment complexes for the developmentally disabled.

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
